Materials and Process
In this industry, where there are a lot of high profile clients and the brief is clear and strict with a harsh deadline to meet, they might start off with a more practical method and then move to a more digital method.
They often use Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator and other digitally enhancing software's to finish their work.
Once the 2D aspects of the development are done they will sometimes move on to 3d modelling their characters and assets to better gauge their work and use it as a later reference for people during the production.
Typically sculpting with clay and foam and other materials were the go to but with new and initiate digital programs more and more artists are moving online.
There many different 3d software's now available, Maya or Blender is what they most commonly use, things are able to be made and sculpting all in the same area and can have it done a lot quicker digitally. Physical materials are most likely pencil, pens, chalk and ink and so on and then scanned and continued digitally.
